Independent Curators International (ICI) connects curators, artists, and institutions to produce outstanding exhibitions, programs, publications, and curatorial training. The 2013 online auction features 34 unique artworks to support this important nonprofit organization (there are no reserves, no buyer's premiums, and 20% of proceeds go to the artists). Miuccia Prada, President, and Germano Celant, Director, Fondazione Prada
2013 Honorees ICI will honor Miuccia Prada with the Leo Award and Germano Celant with the Agnes Gund Curatorial Award. The Awards recognize this team’s exceptional contributions to contemporary art, the work of Fondazione Prada, and the reenactment of the seminal exhibition When Attitudes Become Form: Bern 1969/Venice 2013.
The Event
The ICI Annual Benefit & Auction attracts art world luminaries from across the globe. The event takes place November 19, 2013 at 6:30 PM at Center548 in New York. Party magic crafted by FÊTE and catered by Acquolina. Alexander Rotter of Sotheby’s will lead the live auction. Purchase tickets here.
