The Algorithm Auction

The Algorithm Auction is the world’s first auction celebrating the art of code. The auction includes rare memorabilia and software licenses related to a range of important and historic code. The Algorithm Auction was created by Ruse Laboratories and all proceeds will benefit the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, which began acquiring code for its permanent collection in 2013. Bidding opens on March 18, 2015 at 12:00PM ET and closes online on Artsy on March 27, 2015 at 9:30PM ET.
