Jeppe Hein bases much of his practice on the concept of space, and on its ability to adapt. By simultaneously constructing and deconstructing, Hein builds an interactive dialogue between the viewer, the work, and the exhibition space. Taking a highly minimal approach, Hein focuses on materials and shapes to produce an experience that highlights the spectator’s role within the work. As such, many of Hein’s works are placed in the public sphere, where interaction between the work, its environment, and the people that surround it is fundamental.

On November 7, Jeppe Hein’s solo exhibition STILLHET opens at Galleri Nicolai Wallner, featuring new works on paper, installations and neon works.
