Ephemera

About

The word ephemera comes from the Greek word ephēmeros, which means “‘lasting only a day.” Although largely meant to exist for a short time and then to be discarded, some ephemera is preserved as artifacts shared cultural heritage. Typically made on paper, ephemera often comes from the leftovers of popular culture, like posters for concerts or films, brochures for events and shows, and other forms of printed matter like magazines, journals, and newspapers.
