Irregular Linear Forms
About
A term for artworks that emphasize the use of mostly straight lines and shapes, though drawn without the help of a straight-edge. These lines often reveal the gesture of the artist’s hand making them, and thus may appear blurred, bumpy, or imperfect, as in the work of Paul Klee or Mark Rothko.
