Zoomorphism

The attribution of animal traits, forms, and behaviors and patterns deriving from animal imagery to objects and humans. These include Egyptian deities in animal form, Bronze Age and ancient Greek vases in the form of an animal head or body, African ceremonial masks, or Inuit zoomorphic carvings, among others.
