###Art Fair Relations Project Manager (New York)

Artsy seeks an art world professional to manage existing art fairs relationships. Artsy provides the most comprehensive coverage of art fairs anywhere, providing access to artworks and galleries from 40+ leading art fairs in several countries.

Your primary responsibility will be to foster existing relationships with our partner art fairs. You will serve as the liaison between fair organizers and cross-functional teams at Artsy (Arts, Editorial, Sales, Design, Engineering, etc.) to launch a tailored online experience for each of our fair partners. You will also be responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of Artsy’s physical presence at art fairs, as necessary. You will manage multiple relationships and dedicate the same level of attention and care to each of them.

The ideal candidate is a highly articulate individual who enjoys working across different teams in a fast-paced environment. You are flexible, self-motivated, extremely organized, and show attention to detail. You are shrewdly analytical and have the creative insight to implement a strategy that translates each fair’s program online, while continuously assessing results and adapting the strategy as required to ensure a successful partnership. You must be familiar with how art fairs work and who their audiences are, and passionate about the art market and providing access to collectors and art enthusiasts around the world.

The ideal candidate for this position has a BA in Art History and 3+ years of work experience in the contemporary art world, preferably in art fairs, and is fluent in Spanish and/or Italian. This role also requires frequent travel. You must be based in New York City, and available to start immediately on a full-time basis.
