Afterimage Gallery, founded in 1971 in Dallas, is one of the oldest businesses in the world devoted to presenting and marketing photography. A retail gallery lasting until May, 2020, the owner is now privately dealing from his home in Richardson, a northern suburb.
Until May of 2021, Afterimage Gallery was an art gallery devoted exclusively to the medium of photography. Established in Dallas, Texas in 1971, it was one of the longest lasting galleries of its kind in the world. Over the years, the gallery exhibited many prominent photographers ranging from Ansel Adams to Edward Weston, along with lesser known "emerging" talents. Now the gallery is all online, with its founder, Ben Breard, dealing privately out of his home in Richardson, a suburb north of Dallas. On Artsy, you will find a selection of our finest pieces.
