Established in 1878, Alberto Di Castro is a leading Italian gallery exhibiting pre-20th century art, often in dialogue with modern and contemporary art: from micromosaics, sculptures, colored marbles and jewels to drawings and paintings. Di Castro has merged a personal passion and a rigorous art historical approach, re-discovering and publishing rare, curious artworks as he leads us on an ideal Grand Tour.
Works from the gallery can be found in major museum collections worldwide, including Galleria Borghese, Rome; Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan; Musée du Louvre, Paris; The British Museum, London; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
