In 1977 Vittorio Poleschi founded Poleschi Arte in Lucca. In 2000 the gallery opened its new headquarters in Milan. In 2018 the gallery's leadership passed into the hands of his son Andrea Poleschi, becoming Ambrosiana Art Gallery.
In 1977 Vittorio Poleschi founded Poleschi Arte. The list of Italian 20th-century masters and international avant-garde artists presented by Poleschi Arte in Lucca and Forte dei Marmi is extensive. From Matta to Tozzi, from Licini to Adami, from Gentilini to Castellani, from Crippa to Arman. In 2000 the gallery opened its new headquarters in Milan, on the prestigious Via Foro Buonaparte. In 2014, a new branch in Pietrasanta was inaugurated. The year 2017 was marked by a solo retrospective of Piero Gilardi titled "Natura Espansa". In 2018 the gallery's leadership passed into the hands of his son Andrea Poleschi, and the location was moved to Via Sant'Agnese, always in Milan, becoming Ambrosiana Art Gallery. In 2022, an important solo exhibition of Valerio Adami was inaugurated.
