About
Launched in Tokyo in 2018. ANOMALY utilizes the two gallery spaces for diverse and ambitious presentations and the public area where artists, collaborators, and visitors meet. By doing so, ANOMALY is inspired to fertilize the soil for cultivating all creations.
Launched in Tokyo in 2018. ANOMALY stands for deviation from normality, common order, rule, and irregularity that cannot be explained by the general consideration. Unbinding the existing framework of an ”art gallery” and in accordance with the needs in contemporary arts in and out of Japan, ANOMALY aspires to be elastic by utilizing the two gallery spaces for diverse presentations and the public area where artists, collaborators, and visitors meet. These spaces facilitate ambitious exhibitions, performances, talks, and various public programs of all scales derived from the extended research and dialogues. By doing so, ANOMALY is inspired to fertilize the soil for cultivating all creations.
