AnzenbergerGallery for photography based art offers from small affordable works, contemporary relevant photography art to rare vintage photographs; the Vienna gallery shows largely unseen young or established international artists over six to eight exhibition cycles per year
The AnzenbergerGallery was founded by the artist Regina Maria Anzenberger in 2002 and is one of the major photography based galleries in Vienna. In the showrooms at Brotfabrik Wien, a former bakery, the AnzenbergerGallery shows largely unseen young or established international artists over six to eight exhibition cycles per year. EDITION 1 showcasing the AnzenbergerGallery's contemporary unique photographic pieces which can be works of mixed media or alternative analogue processes. Since 2011, the gallery has also had a bookshop with a selection of photography books, including rare, signed, and self-published books by photographers. Photobook related workshops are regularly organised with experts like Gerry Badger.
