Art Heritage

Founded in 1977, Art Heritage is committed to promoting Indian art. The gallery has held over 600 exhibitions, including 20 retrospectives, and published more than 450 books and catalogues celebrating the work of both distinguished artists like M F Husain, Tyeb Mehta, Francis Newton Souza, Akbar Padamsee, Somnath Hore, K G Subramanyan and Sudhir Patwardhan, as well as new and emerging talent from India and abroad. The gallery has created an identity for itself as part commercial art gallery, part public museum, and part education center. Its dual mandate of commerce and education provides audiences an opportunity to learn about art through curated exhibitions, as well as illustrated talks, and acquire works that resonate with them.
