Baró Galeria

Founded in 1999 by Maria Baró in São Paulo, Baró Galeria is a renowned contemporary art gallery representing 25 artists from 15 nationalities. It has shaped the Brazilian and Latin American art scenes, showcasing icons like Lygia Clark, David Medalla, and Hélio Oiticica, while hosting global names like Christian Boltanski and Tatiana Trouvé. In 2021, Baró expanded to Mallorca with two spaces in a historic 17th-century building, fostering dialogue between the Global South and Mediterranean art scenes. In 2025, in partnership with O-Contemporary, it opened in Abu Dhabi, strengthening ties to the Middle East through collaborations with institutions and local artists. A key player in art fairs like Art Basel, Frieze, and Art Dubai, Baró continues to champion artistic innovation globally.
