About
Founded in Saint-Étienne in 2006 by François Ceysson and Loïc Bénétière, subsequently joined by Bernard Ceysson, artistic advisor, Ceysson & Bénétière gallery initially expanded in Luxembourg and Paris. In Spring 2017, the gallery opened a new space in New York.
Founded in Saint-Étienne in 2006 by François Ceysson and Loïc Bénétière, subsequently joined by Bernard Ceysson, artistic advisor, the Bernard Ceysson gallery initially expanded its presence in French-speaking Europe: Luxembourg, Paris and then Geneva. In 2017, the gallery grew overseas and opened a space in New York on Madison Avenue (NY, USA) under the gallery name Ceysson & Bénétière - a new page for the gallery, presenting an international programmation, opening the New York space with Claude Viallat, from the French movement Supports/Surfaces.
