Cisterna

Founded in March 2019 and directed by Catarina Marques da Silva, the gallery brings together established Portuguese and international artists, while also offering a space for international artist residency schemes and developing emerging talents. The concept behind this new cultural space is based upon its location, a restored and repurposed water cistern room from the XVII century, intended for storage and distribution.
