Clarke Gallery has been a full service art gallery for over thirty years.
We buy and sell original works of art by known and listed artists.
Our focus is on American art of the 20th century. Latin American art as well as European pieces do arrive on occasion.
Clarke Gallery currently retains two locations, one in Rockland, Maine and the other in Newburyport, Ma. The Rockland gallery is seasonal and open only during the summer/fall season, usually June through October. The Newburyport gallery is open by appointment only with most of the business there being consummated online.
Clarke Gallery Rockland is located 2 doors down from the Farnsworth Museum and around the corner from the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. We attempt to prioritize works by artist who have an association with the State of Maine with emphasis on the islands such as Monhegan Island and the surrounds.
