Contour is one of Rotterdam’s youngest galleries for contemporary art, with a specialization in photography and sculptures. Located in Rotterdam, the gallery maintains a diverse exhibition program with mainly solo exhibitions of the gallery artists.

At contour gallery we look for the outlines of photography, this creates a diverse picture of what can be discovered in the field of photography today. The gallery is located in the Josephstraat, the gallery-quartier in the heart of Rotterdam. One of the focus points of the gallery is to give artists a solo presentation in the gallery. In this way, the artist gets all the space to let his vision and ideas come into their own and the opportunity to develop them in the space. Striving for exhibitions with a monumental character. A second focal point of the gallery, is the ratio of 50-50% male/female artists, diverse and inclusive.  We pay attention to makers who are inspired by the past, both in art and in the social and cultural field.
