Héctor Esrawe

Héctor Esrawe, born in 1968 in Mexico, is a prolific furniture and interior designer, architect, academic, and entrepreneur living and working in Mexico City. His work reflects of clear knowledge and understanding of materials, processes, techniques and artisanal skills. Esrawe has a magnificent ability to simply but abstractly transform the shape and expression of natural materials, while being nurtured by Mexico’s rich artisan heritage, aiming for a timeless and honest creation. Esrawe is passionate about constant experimentation and horizontal collaboration that is defining his work today, and which has attracted the attention of collectors, academies and institutions, as how the line between disciplines is blurred in his practice.
