Flux Factory

Flux Factory is an Artist Residency founded in 1993 that provides affordable studio space to 50 local and international emerging artists each year through bi-annual open calls. As an incubator for experimentation with collaborative processes, offers group and solo exhibitions, multidisciplinary workshops, educational training, and career opportunities. Flux's 9,000 sq ft building has 16 private artist studios, 8 collective workspaces, and a 1,400 sq ft gallery, where develops exhibitions and public programs and over 100 annual free events with about 8,000 people attending. That makes Flux Factory Long Island City's most prolific provider of free contemporary art.
