Galeria de Babel

Founded in 1999 by Jully Fernandes, BABEL is an internationally acclaimed contemporary art gallery based in Sao Paulo and in New York. Guided by its core values and vision, bolds an independent and innovative attitude, cosmopolitan outlook, and audacious thinking. BABEL and its team of collaborators seek to push boundaries and exceed expectations with its selection of represented artists and art oeuvres in both of its locations. The gallery operates on an international scale due to its various activities which revolve around a programme of exhibitions, fairs, lectures + partnerships with institutions and Museums. BABEL has gained recognition for the work in contemporary photography but since 2015 it has produced exhibitions in installations, painting, sculptures and drawings.
