Galeria Filomena Soares

Established in 1999 in Lisbon, Galeria Filomena Soares is a gallery devoted to contemporary artistic production, fostering a productive dialogue between artists, curators and institutions working in the Portuguese and international art scenes. Now in its third decade, the gallery advances its mission through a robust program, comprising exhibitions, artist projects, institutional collaborations, performances, and interdisciplinary projects, as well as publishing artists' monographs, artist’s books, exhibition catalogues, and limited editions in close collaboration with artists and institutions. Latest exhibitions in the gallery include Christine Streuli’s "Preconceptions", Edgar Martins' "Anton's Hand..", Fredrik Værslev's "Fredrik Værslev in Portugal", and Rui Chafes' "Acredito em Tudo".
