About

Galerie Charlot promotes innovative contemporary art practices. Particularly sensitive to emerging art forms, the gallery focuses on the relation between art, technology and science. The gallery is based in Paris, France and Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.

Valérie Hasson-Benillouche founded Galerie Charlot in 2010 with the aim of supporting innovative practices in contemporary art and developing the relationship between Art, Technology and Science in its two spaces in Paris and Tel Aviv with a programme of exhibitions, conferences and performances. Partnerships with galleries, institutions and curators complete the gallery's international influence and confirm the place of the gallery's artists through exhibitions such as "Aurae" at the Gaité Lyrique, 2022, "Kinetismus" at Praha, Prague, "Re-coding" at Fondazione Terzo, Rome, 2021, "The Artwork as a living system" and "Beyong round" at ZKM, Germany 2020, "Code is Law" at CWB, Paris 2020, La Fabrique du vivant 2019
