About
Marcus Deschler founded his gallery in Auguststrasse in Berlin’s Mitte district in 1995. In this exciting period in the first decade after the fall of the Berlin Wall he became part of a dynamically developing gallery scene. In 2001 the rooms of the gallery were carefully restored and enlarged. Through active public relations, a wide-spread network as well as collaborations with other galleries and institutions, he positions his artist on the international market.
The gallery collaborates with a carefully selected group of artists. The focus of its work with younger artists is on technically innovative reinterpretations of traditional approaches.
