About
Gannon House Gallery houses a large collection of Australian Aboriginal art featuring emerging to established artists working in a range of media. The gallery also exhibits Australian contemporary art including an extensive selection of glass.
Gannon House Gallery was established in 1993 and occupies an historic house in Sydney. The gallery is dedicated to Australian art with the primary focus on collectable Aboriginal art. With long established links to the communities in remote Australia the collection has grown over 25 years to include artwork ranging from small works on canvas to large museum quality work by artists from the Central and Western Desert cultural regions and Arnhem Land.
Gannon House Gallery also deals in artefacts collected from around Australia from the early 1940's.
The Gallery is a signatory to the Indigenous Art Code demonstrating our commitment to ethical dealings with the artists and communities we represent.
