About
Gilman Contemporary’s program is devoted to presenting contemporary art by emerging, mid-career and established artists. We believe the art we exhibit should be thought-provoking and resonate in a deeply personal place for our clients.
Gilman Contemporary was founded in 2007 by owner-director L'Anne Gilman. Recognizing a need in the Sun Valley art scene to provide a significant, contemporary gallery where young, and sophisticated collectors can relate to a fresh, vibrant art market, Gilman Contemporary has successfully filled an important niche.
Representing artists from diverse generations and global geographies, their expertise range from photography to sculpture and painting. Aiming to provide a broad audience to its artists, the gallery presents both solo and curated group exhibitions, as well as participating in art fairs across the country. Gilman Contemporary proudly introduces several guest artist exhibitions annually in an effort to broaden the dialogue with artists outside its regular program.
