Ini’s mission is to showcase African culture globally through visual art, performance art, literature, fashion, etc, thereby catalyzing interest in African culture in today’s contemporary world, with a view to changing the African narrative, through the medium of art. Loosely translated, “Ini” in the Nigerian Yoruba language refers to “heritage”, or “possession”- what you own, what we own- Ini is for us, Africa, and the world.
