KAG (Kyoto Art Gallery) is well known as a rising art gallery highly sought after in Japan. We have over 10,000 works of contemporary art (especially paintings) by active Japanese artists, in genres as diverse as landscape, flora, pop and kawaii art, etc. KAG's main strength lies in its exceptional collection of artworks. We have developed a unique network of artists in Japan and have established a system for collecting and delivering their original artworks to a wide range of people. These assets and initiatives of ours have been well received both within and outside of the industry, with numerous accolades including being named one of Forbes Japan's "30 Culture Preneurs". In recognition of these achievements, we have received a special award from the city of Kyoto, where we are based.
