About
The Lee Miller Archives Print Room offers to collectors the opportunity to acquire Fine Archival Gelatin Silver Prints, hand printed by Estate Printer Carole Callow and Platinum editions by 31 Studio. Also represented: works by Roland Penrose and David E. Scherman.
Lee Miller, legendary model, Surrealist, fashion and portrait photographer who became a WWII photojournalist, is regarded as one of the most remarkable photographers of the 20th Century.
The Lee Miller Archives formed shortly after Lee’s death in 1977 with the discovery of her work in the attic of her home Farleys House. Dedicated to preserving her legacy and that of her contemporaries, we publish, curate, and exhibit internationally.
Since the early 80s our Print Room has offered collectors the opportunity to acquire Fine Archival Gelatin Silver prints; hand printed mostly from Lee Miller’s original negatives by Estate Printer Carole Callow and Platinum editions by 31 Studio since the 90s.
We also represent Lee's husband Roland Penrose and her friend David E. Scherman.
