Founded in 2010, under the name of Artepaso and rebranded in 2014 as Lucía Mendonza, the gallery represents artists from different countries and cultures whose practices and aesthetics serve as a contribution to contemporary socio-cultural research.
Located in Madrid's Salesas neighborhood, Lucía Mendoza Gallery takes the role of contemporary art as a pillar and engine of a common movement towards sustainability, from practices and aesthetics that work with a holistic vision. The gallery is configured as an expanded, flexible, free, reflective, propositive and stimulating space that welcomes a broad expression of artistic creation and whose roadmap is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, understanding its objectives and goals as a global path to build a more livable, just and inclusive planet.
