Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art Salzburg

MARIO MAURONER CONTEMPORARY ART SALZBURG was founded in 1972 by Waltraud & Mario Mauroner, at that time the gallery was still named „Galerie Academia“. As an additional expansion of the vaults of the old prince archbishop „Residenz“ building, another 350 m2 exhibition space is located by the 1932 built „Bauhaus“ style gallery house. Here „White Cube“ exhibition rooms are spread out over two floors and give expanded possibilities to exhibit. Further, it is surrounded by a spacious sculpture garden.
