Prince Street Gallery is located in the Chelsea Art District of New York City. The gallery shows representational and abstract work by contemporary artists, with an emphasis on painting, drawing, printmaking and collage.
Prince Street Gallery began with a group of New York City artists in 1970 on Prince Street. Through a continued group commitment for almost 50 years of independent artists, the gallery supports exhibitions and events that strengthen and cultivate a more vibrant, inclusive art community. Our efforts to encourage a broader community of artists outside the gallery include an annual national juried exhibition, invitational shows, and artist talks with renowned artists and critics.
