SGR focuses on representing a small group of artists, consolidating their careers and positioning them within the art markets. In Bogota’s art circuit, this allows to present work that stands out for its originality, becoming part of the renovation of the local scene.

SGR Galería is an exhibition space committed with the fostering and diffusion of the artistic proposals it represents. We also search to establish a dialogue between these and invited local and international artists; thus wishing to incentivize the production and circulation of a multiplicity of works being produced by emergent artists. Our gallery constitutes itself as a dynamic space, unafraid of taking risks, while remaining truthful to the wager our project has been committed to since its birth in 2011. With the contemporary practices we select and show, we want to give to our public a perspective of the art world that takes a distance from the inaccessible discourses, directed to specialised audiences, which seem prevalent in today’s art circles.
