ShockBoxx

Founded in 2017 by artists Mike Collins and Laura Schuler, ShockBoxx quickly developed a reputation for being a small space with big ideas. Located in Hermosa Beach, California, the gallery's goal has always been to break away from the traditional styles of the area and attract a diverse cast of artists, patrons, collectors and events. ShockBoxx came out of the gate as fast as possible, offering 20 shows in our first year of business and drawing attention to the gallery while putting the Los Angeles art crowd on notice: something is happening in Hermosa Beach that is worth fighting traffic over. The pace and willingness to push the envelope has helped develop a program of artists that now drive the concepts for solo and group shows. Stay tuned. We are just getting started.
