Space 776

Space 776 was founded in 2013 as an extension of director Jourdain JongWon Lee’s previous project, Space N. Space 776’s mission is rooted in Lee’s desire for a space that nurtures the careers of young and otherwise obscured artists. By participating in international art fairs such as Volta Basel, Art Miami, Asia Contemporary Art Show, and Art Busan, Space 776 plays an active role in the international exchange of contemporary aesthetics. Space 776 Seoul opened its doors in August 2019 to further promote this intercultural network and to introduce New York-based artists to the Asian market.
