TAFETA

TAFETA is a London-based gallery specializing in 20th-century and contemporary African art. Founded in 2013, and with a project space in Lagos, Nigeria, the gallery is also a leading purveyor of some of the most important 20th-century artists of African descent. TAFETA 's contemporary program actively seeks to discover and represent emerging, mid-career and established artists in Africa and the diaspora. TAFETA has been featured in notable international publications such as the Financial Times, The New York Times, and the Art Newspaper and has worked to place contemporary African art in prominent public and private collections, including the Smithsonian's National Museum of African Arts, Washington D.C.
