A collection of artworks from some of the greatest artist that have passed through August House, ‘The artist playground’ in South Africa that has been home to more than 70 artists.
In 2016 I managed to secure the purchase of August House with my partner David at the time. We dubbed it ‘The artists playground’ and revived the five story building into a thriving home for about 70artists. Some incredible artists at August House have become internationally famous and I have had the privilege of collecting their works. The Nola collection symbolises how doing good for others gives back in kind. It’s been an incredible journey uplifting and assisting artists through their careers. It’s tough in South Africa with limited support, and the eco system is real. The August house internal economy has changed so many lives.
