Tokonoma_OM

TokonOMa is the fusion of Tokonoma Design Store -specialized in contemporary ceramics- and the OM brand. In 2018, Olga Martínez, its director, resumed the career monitoring of a selection of visual artists, and this is how the OM brand, heir to El Borde, is born and nests in TokonOMa. Our motivation is to explore and link the relationship between art and design in the contemporary visual arts scene, with the concept of expanded field as framework, promoting the synergy necessary to encourage and bolster a common market. In a collaborative environment, we cultivate relationships between our artists and designers in meetings with creators and specialists. We seek to set in motion conversations to promote current production and expand the circulation about contemporary and emerging activity.
