About

UMA LULIK_ aims to contextualize different artistic practices and demystify contemporary art production of emerging geographies connecting them with the western world. Working with curators it holds monographic and group exhibitions and participates in international fairs.

UMA LULIK_ was founded by Miguel Rios in 2017. The gallery aims to contextualize artists and demystify contemporary art production of emerging geographies such as Africa, Asia, Middle East and South America, connecting them with the western world or the opposite. UMA LULIK_ represents Portuguese and foreign artists whose artistic practices spans across a wide spectrum of artistic media. Promoting the artists on an international scale, the gallery holds monographic and group exhibitions, as well as it works with Portuguese and foreign curators and participates in international art fairs. The partnership with international galleries is part of the gallery’s commercial and artistic strategy, in order to present Portuguese artists in the international market and foreign artists in Portugal
