Founded in 2012 by Adam Lindemann, Venus Over Manhattan is dedicated to unique and iconoclastic exhibitions featuring the work of both historic and contemporary artists.
Founded in 2012 by Adam Lindemann, Venus Over Manhattan is dedicated to unique and iconoclastic exhibitions featuring the work of both historic and contemporary artists. Venus represents and collaborates with the following artists and Estates: Joan Brown, Roger Brown, Roy De Forest, John Dogg, Jack Goldstein, Andrew LaMar Hopkins, Maryan, David Medalla, Peter Saul, Shinichi Sawada, Katie Stout, H.C. Westermann, and Joseph Elmer Yoakum. In its near 10-year history, the gallery has also staged exhibitions of the following artists: Billy Al Bengston, Katherine Bernhardt, Bernard Buffet, Alexander Calder, Maurizio Cattelan, William N. Copley, Walter Dahn, Mike Kelley, John McCracken, Cady Noland, Charlotte Perriand, Raymond Pettibon, Andy Warhol, and Franz West.
