Founded in Carmel-by-the-Sea in 1989 by Christopher Winfield, Winfield Gallery specializes in contemporary art by established, mid-career, and emerging artists from around the world, with a particular emphasis on California and West Coast art. We feature a variety of practices, including painting, sculpture, and ceramics. Our commitment is to advance artists' careers and build long-term relationships with collectors. Our mission is to connect contemporary art with collectors and enthusiasts through exhibitions, collaborations with museum curators, catalog production, press engagement, and collector education.
