Yvonne Hohner Contemporary

In my gallery in Karlsruhe, I present works by artists who tell stories. In my exhibitions, the artists bring their personal view, their experience and their message to social criticism, the environment or other current topics. The message of these works is not platitudinous and striking, but subtly and ingeniously processed: We often have to look twice or three times to understand what is behind a painting. I am happy when you, as an art collector, find your way to my gallery. And I have a great desire to also pick up those who don't even know yet that they want to become collectors. Because that's how it was for me: I always thought art was great. But it never occurred to me to collect art because it seemed unattainable and unrealistic. I want to make art really tangible for you.
