A PHOTOGRAPHIC MOVEMENT
BASTIAAN WOUDT chose the distance of black and white to the omnipresence of color. He sees beyond colors and takes pictures without stopping at appearances. By switching to a monochrome vision, he tries to remove all reality from his portraits. Abstraction, fashion and nudes traditions meet in his intimate works. Bastiaan is looking for his own perception, and shares his love of monochrome, as a pictural story, an identity quest. He pursues his imaginary journey through his « discoveries », his portraits.
