"delle più belle, le parole" MATTEO NEGRI 3.IX.2016

On the occasion of WOPART works on paper fair, ABC-ARTE presents "delle più belle, le parole", artwork by Matteo Negri, installed by the cloister of the Palace Cafè, piazza Bernardino Luini 5, Lugano.

The research of this young Milanese artist, born in 1982, focuses on sculpture and installation.
Through a formal and visual elaboration, objects created by imagination are included in unusual and poetical landscapes.

Laying with irony and the prospect of impossible events, the artist will install "delle più belle, le parole". It is a fuchsia opalescent meteorite, a huge matrix with typographical fonts embossed on it, which landed just next to the centuries-old olive tree in the Palace’s cloister, creating an innovative exchange between time and space.
