The 2013 debuted fair ART 13 LONDON attracted over 25,000 visitors. The guest list certainly looked impressive, gathering collectors across Europe : Uli Sigg from Switzerland、Charles Satchi from London、Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo from Italy，and Don and Mera Rubell from Miami！Critics have been very positive about the Fair and particularly its global scope. Reactions included “refreshingly different” (The Financial Times) and “full of potential” (Daily Telegraph). The Art Newspaper’s view was “Art13 was eagerly anticipated…and then did not disappoint.” Meanwhile artinfo’s headline “Positive Sales and Spirits at Art13 London” attests to the robust sales and great atmosphere generated.

With 70% of these galleries being new to a London art fair and around half the artists exhibited being from outside the west, the Fair offered a new, original and fresh view of modern and contemporary art. In addition to the main section of established galleries there will be a strong commitment by the Fair to emerging artists and different mediums. The positioning is in chorus with AKI Gallery who is full of vigor and vitality. AKI presents SHEN Chao-Liang, HUA Chien-Chiang, FAN Yang-Tsung, LO Chan-Peng, and LEE Chen-Dao five artists this time: photographer SHEN Chao-Liang who just finished exhibitions in Miami, Hong Kong and Osaka’s this January have been praised internationally. The tracks of his works can be recognized across 15 countries, 31 cities. Soon the STAGE trucks will sweep London with its attractive surreal landscapes this February ; HUA Chien-Chiang who manipulates traditional gouache but transforms the images into contemporary style is transcend Western experience；FAN Yang-Tsung who is good at playing with the elements of hard-edge spaces, perspectives and colors earn the focus in Asia；LO Chan-Peng who was invited to group show by ESMoA last May not only made him the target of collectors but also escalate the vision of contemporary art in Taiwan! His highly-detailed photorealistic portrait painting and unique atmosphere is bound to raise another climax；Last but not least, LEE Chen-Dao’s excellent classical painting techniques along with bantering themes are admired by American and Japanese collectors. After positive sale achievement at Art Taipei 2013, it is believed that LEE will enchant Europe with his significant identity.
