Gluklya who is born in St. Petersburg, lives and works in St. Petersburg and Amsterdam, uses clothes in her projects as a tool to build a connection between art and everyday life. Addressing the personal stories of her charachters she analyzes and makes visible the conflict between a person's inner world and the political system. The installation ‘Raised from the Sea’ will be a personal take on the refugee crisis based on Gluklya’s collaboration with refugees in several countries and most recently in Italy.
