There are some spaces so filled with experience they feel burdened. Like the air is rich, emotion is made form and tangible. As though it had a texture and a taste. Daniel Freaker’s exhibition ‘Solace Formed’ brings together works that push this idea further, searching for a primal connection to the audience. The intensity of colour, the familiarity of scene, the depth of texture all ways of speaking to our feelings in a language before words.
