Amos Eno Gallery presents Stool Sample, an exhibition of recent works by Erik Patton. A reception will be held on Friday, February 9 from 6 - 8 PM at 56 Bogart Street in Brooklyn, NY.
Patton’s 3rd solo project at the gallery, Stool Sample, is a partial-room constructed environment that continues his interest in the body and its relation to materiality. As early as the Old Babylonian hymns, the anus has been recognized as a body portal. Where will yours take you?
Erik received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College in Art History and Visual and Environmental Studies, attended the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, and is a graduate of Hunter College’s Master of Fine Arts program in Combined Media.
