From Palace to Palace traces South London’s skateboarding spots through the decades, celebrating sanctuaries for UK’s weathered scene. Photographic installations at six locations will draw a historical lineage from the notorious 1980s Crystal Palace Ramp, to Stockwell Skate park, Kennington bowl, BFI Banks, Shell Centre, and ending at Southbank’s Undercroft, UK’s sovereign skate spot, and home of renowned Palace skateboard team. Visitors who document locations through social media can win a signed poster at The Undercroft from 6:30-9:30pm.
The event is in support of Long Live Southbank, and part of Against the Grain, a photography exhibition.
