A selection of Mildor's paintings will be exhibited at Arte Berri. Through the use of blue hues and clusters of people this haitian born artist who lives in Brooklin presents the hardships of passengers, travels and immigrants trying to find their way home.
In a contemporary atmosphere of paintings and installations, Arte Berri, presents the first solo show, "Relations,"of emerging artist, Milder Chevalier.
Art critic, Delia Blanco, writes, ""Mildor Chevalier is presenting his solo show "Relations." He paints in his Brooklyn studio and in the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo. He is an artist who manipulates urban light. Through his chromatic composition he paints the crowd in lines, in a ripple of the movement, in a wave of people. The spectator is in the front of the line a poetic "passer-by" and in the luggage, we find an imaginary snatched from dreams and realities. "
The public will be able to delight in the works that Arte Berri hosts until October 2017, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 in the morning until 5:30 in the afternoon, Saturdays until 1 pm. There will be a guided tour on Saturday, September 30th. For more information you can contact 829-343-4514 or firstname.lastname@example.org
